Entry cost – $2 per entry. One entry per person, per class 1st place receives $10,
2nd Place receives $5 If only one entry is in a class, it will not necessarily get 1st
place. It will depend on the quality. Entry forms can be found on our website or

5pm – 7pm Judging criteria for Liquid Honey – Total 100 points: Flavour – 25 points,
Density – 25 points, Colour – 25 points Aroma – 10 Points, Clearness – 10 points,
Brightness – 5 points Please note that the Judge’s decision will be final. All honey
must be exhibited in a 500gram CLEAN, CLEAR GLASS jar with a WHITE LID.

1607. Beeswax: Rendered for Display. Must be a block not less then 500 grams &
not more then 1Kg. No fancy shapes or patterns. Only Square, Round or Rectangle
accepted. In Sealed ZIPLOCK bag.
1608. Natural Beeswax Moulds x 3: Judging Criteria: Skill in moulding and shaping
– 50 points, Appearance – 25 points, Quality of Wax – 25 points In sealed ZIPLOCK

1609. Candles: Dipped, moulded or rolled All Candles will be burnt for 1 hour
Judging Criteria: Appearance – 25 points, Burn response and wick – 35 points, Feel
– 10 points, Ease of lighting – 10 points, Cleanliness – 20 points
Children 10 – 17 years old may enter any of the classes. The preparation of
entries must be their own work with minimal assistance from an adult
