Welcome to the 62nd Annual
Morisset Lake Macquarie Agricultural Show


As my second year as President I find myself left with a incredibly Committed and Talented Committee

I would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication for putting the 2016 Show Program together which will see us produce a bigger and better show.

This year’s program kicks off on Friday with the welcome return of the Dog Section after a 2 years absence due to the show ground upgrades and much loved Show Jumping.

Saturday and Sunday will be 2 days of fun filled family activities comprising of our very own Dog Groomers Shoot Out ,the traditional Wood chopping , Cattle ,Horses ,Poultry ,Goats , Pavilion Exhibits , Animal Nursery , as well as Australian Working Dog Rescue High Jump competition & Duck Herding displays, Police /SES/Fire Brigade displays, Stalls, Rides and Show Bags.


The main Stage offers live entertainment all day and on Saturday at 1pm will be the official Opening of the show and the announcement and crowning of the 2016 Show Girl

On Sunday we welcome back the Poetry Competition and the very popular FREE Pet show is at 12 am ,This is open to all ages to enter .At 3pm will see the running of the Wife Carring Competition and the introduction of 2 a side Team Tug of War and Gum Boot Throwing.


The Annual Show, showcases our district and beyond ,and we continue to see the very best agricultural exhibits and Community displays on offer

We are proud of our Annual Show and Community Spirit it generates  The show would not survive without the local community and the generous support from our Sponsors.
